This cute 20g bar is handcrafted in small batches in New Zealand, ensuring freshness and quality. With only the lowest level of safe conditioning agents, it provides light support to reduce roughness and improve manageability while your hair adapts to natural shampoo bars.

Two Versions Available

• Tulsi Version – For All Hair Types
  Infused with Ayurvedic Tulsi to promote softness, bounce, and scalp balance. Best paired with Ayurvedic Shampoo Bars (except Henna).

• Indigo Version – For Henna Users
  Enriched with Ayurvedic Indigo to complement natural Henna hair dye care. Ideal for those using the Henna Shampoo Bar or natural Henna treatments.

How to Use

Use after shampooing with a solid shampoo bar. A small amount is enough. Avoid applying to the scalp and rinse thoroughly.

• Short hair: Wet the bar under warm water, rub into hands, then apply with hands to hair.

• Medium hair: Glide bar 2–3 times from roots to ends, then massage through.

• Long hair: Apply 4–5 strokes to the ends, then spread the remaining conditioner from your hands through the rest of the hair.

Why We Created This

Conventional conditioners contain coating agents that instantly seal the cuticle, masking damage and giving a false sense of smoothness. With additive-free shampoo soap, the goal is pure cleansing—allowing hair to return to its natural state after towel drying.

However, damaged or color-treated hair may feel coarse, sticky, or waxy during rinsing. Many people give up at this stage and return to synthetic conditioners, which interrupts the transition to natural care. Natural rinses such as diluted lemon juice, vinegar, or citric acid can help, but they are not always practical for daily life.

The Rescue Solid Conditioner Bar was created as a temporary bridge—made with only a minimal amount of safe conditioning agents—to ease discomfort during this transition. Once hair adjusts, conditioner is no longer necessary. For occasional dryness, our Versatile Hair & Skin Oil (100% Argan or Olive Squalane base with Chiko Soap’s signature essential oil blend) offers a simple and natural finishing touch.
