Eco-Cleaning Soap is a sustainable household cleaner made from filtered, plant-based used oil generously provided by local food businesses—like Southern-Maid Donuts in Auckland.

Instead of chemically refining used oil for resale (a common practice), we repurpose it into a powerful, natural soap—without synthetic additives. This is our way of reducing waste and supporting circular living.

Made with the Hot Process method, this soap is harder and more durable than cold process soaps—perfect for household tasks that demand deep cleaning.

Size: Approx 100g.

All of our soaps are crafted entirely by hand. Each bar is carefully cut to approximately 110–115g to anticipate the natural reduction in weight over time as it cures and dries. Please allow for slight variations between pieces, as this is part of the handmade process.

How It’s Made:

• Used oil is filtered to remove food particles, flour, and egg residues

• Deodorized and blended with fresh coconut oil

• Scented with lemon fragrance oil

• No added chemicals or preservatives

How to Use:

As a Solid Soap:
Use directly on dishes, surfaces, kitchen appliances, or floors.
Great as a laundry prewash stain remover.

As a Liquid Soap:

1. Shave or cut approx. 20g of soap

2. Place in a heat-resistant jar (like a jam jar)

3. Add 500ml of boiled water

4. Close the lid and let it dissolve for 3–5 days

5. Shake gently to mix — ready to use!
