Kintsugi Soap – Elegant Care for Glowing Skin
Handcrafted Hot Process Soap with Natural Ingredients
At Chiko Soap, every soap bar is made with natural ingredients and handcrafted using the cold process method but this is made with Hot Process. Each soap is gentle on sensitive skin and suitable for various skin types.
Our Kintsugi Soap is enriched with a blend of high-quality oils—rice bran oil, olive oil, coconut oil, shea butter, and cocoa butter—to deeply nourish, hydrate, and restore the natural vitality of your skin. Inspired by the Japanese art of Kintsugi, this soap reflects the spirit of celebrating imperfection within perfection, leaving your skin smooth, balanced, and glowing.
Unlike cold process soap, hot process soap accelerates saponification (the process where oils turn into soap) by heating the mixture. This means it is ready for use right away, offering rich, creamy lather. Hot process soap lathers faster and provides a smooth, stable texture compared to cold process soap, which requires a longer curing time.
Handcrafted using the hot process method, this soap nourishes your skin for long-lasting effects. The delicate color is achieved with bamboo charcoal and gold mica, beautifully reflecting the elegance of Kintsugi. The soothing scent, a blend of jasmine ivy, musk, and frankincense, offers calming and grounding effects with every use.
We believe that skincare should be a safe, comforting, and nourishing experience in your daily routine. That’s why each bar is carefully made with love and thoughtfulness, bringing you not just a soap, but a moment of beauty.
Hot Process Soap vs. Cold Process Soap
Cold Process Soap is made without heating, allowing it to retain more of the natural benefits of oils and butters, with a longer curing time that results in a smooth, hard texture.
Hot Process Soap, on the other hand, is heated during the manufacturing process to accelerate saponification, making it ready to use right away. Hot process soap lathers quickly, offering rich, creamy bubbles, and does not require curing time as it is fully saponified during production. It’s gentle and packed with nutrients from the very first use.
Both types of soap have their unique characteristics, and whether you prefer one over the other depends on your personal preference and skincare needs.
Expiration Date: October 2027
To maintain freshness, store in a cool, dark place. It is recommended to wrap the soap in kitchen paper for best preservation. As the soap matures, it may develop an even smoother lather.
