Really enjoyed my create your own roll on aroma workshop with
Shinobu from Chiko Soap. Shinobu is very friendly and
knowledgeable about essential and fragrance oils, and helped me
create a beautiful fragrance that is calming and uplifting with
Neroli, Jazmine, and Yuzu essential oils. All of the essential oils she
provides are great quality and she was able to answer any
questions about where they come from, how they are extracted,
and which blends work well together in a fragrance. I would highly
recommend this workshop for anyone interested in self care, essential oils, or the art of
making perfume. I gained a lot of insight into my preferred aromas and had a lot of fun! あ

At the recent Show Wa Market, we had a great outdoor workshop! It wasn’t originally titled that, but we got lucky with the perfect weather. There were a few hiccups, but that’s just how it goes, right? We had soap stamping and soap cutting activities for both kids...

I’ve been making handmade soap in Auckland, New Zealand since 2006. What started as a way to create gentle soap for a family member with sensitive skin quickly became a passion when I was amazed by its benefits.
My love for soap-making deepened after visiting a traditional soap workshop in Marseille, France.
As a current international flight attendant, I have the opportunity to travel the world. One of my greatest joys is discovering handmade soaps in local markets. By experiencing the materials, culture, plants, and art from each destination, I slowly incorporate these inspirations into my soap-making.
